Considering wood as a construction material for houses or bookshelves, it can occur in one moment that we notice a board leaning against a wall.

Here, the story about the collection of AFDL furniture begins. A board leaning up the wall under a certain angle is the main element of the design. A show of lights and shadows then outlines a silhouette of lamps (lights?). The cutting has an attached shade with a light bulb and a switch. The element of the leaning board functions as the back and the headrest of the bed. The illuminants themselves make the borders between two-dimensional and three-dimensional forms disappear.
